Jon Call

Jon Call of Mr Call Design is both the past and the future of interior design; he is equally comfortable sketching plans for custom casegoods as he is posting fabric options for clients on Pinterest. A young designer with a savvy clientele, Call is embraced by the downtown (and Brooklyn) crowd, but his is not a sleek loft look. Rather, Call achieves a tailored take on classic style that is American in the broad, free-spirited sense of the word. It's a palette that includes everything from Federal pieces to Mad Men Midcentury to clever details that conjure a wry smile. Above all, Call aims to give his clients spaces that balance comfort with "the luxury of a room with personality."

Christian May

Christian May is the founder of Maison21, a Los Angeles-based interiors and product design firm. The Maison21 design aesthetic is rooted in historical modernism but with thought for the future, as well as the way we live now. Bold shapes, a strong palette, and an artist's eye for form and balance define his distinctive style, and Christian brings his signature mix of wit and authenticity to every project, be it a product or an interior. An innovator in all areas, not just design, Christian was an early adopter of social media, and under the name Maison21, he is known as a popular and engaging tastemaker and influencer with a loyal following. Though Christian always has a strong point of view, he's sensitive to the needs of his clients and brings his unique perspective to resolving their individual design parameters into a beautiful and cohesive (but never boring) environment.

Jessica Marx, founder of J. Marx Atelier, approaches design from all angles. A degree from the USC School of Architecture anchors her in both principles and practice, while several years at top interiors firms honed both her aesthetic and her ability to manage high-profile projects. Having applied her expertise coast-to-coast - including at the Trump SoHo in New York City and the Thompson Hotel in Beverly Hills - she founded J. Marx Atelier to provide full-service interiors and identity work with a boutique-scale attention to detail.
