Bakhshaish

The carpets of Bakhshaish, a small village near Heriz, are somewhat similar to the weavings of Heriz in color, format, design and wool quality. The area is mostly known for its late 19th century carpet production that includes large room size rugs with either the Herati or central medallion patterns.
